Abstract
After the collapse of the former Soviet Union, the United States introduced itself as the first power in the world and was able to gain a dominant position in the international arena with significant superiority in the political, military and economic fields, but currently, signs based on the political decline of this country are visible. Is. Therefore, the current research, with the future-oriented method of layer-by-layer analysis of the causes and in an exploratory way, seeks to identify the causes of the decline of American power in the geometry of the new world order. The research is of mixed applied type (qualitative and quantitative) and its data has been collected by reviewing documents, documents and library studies as well as interviews by holding two expert panels. The research approach is to use the future research method of layered analysis of causes. The results of interviews and qualitative studies were considered in the form of a researcher-made questionnaire at the disposal of a community of 73 experts. The collected data were analyzed using statistical methods and SPSS software. The findings of the research showed 47 causes, of which 17 causes are at the level of litany, 10 are at the level of causal systems (social, economic and cultural), 11 are at the level of discourse and worldview, and finally 9 are at the level of metaphors and myths. which are considered as the effective causes of the decline of American power in the geometry of the new world order.
